This post was originally going to be about how very Wrong on the Internet  this New York Times opinion piece is, until I realized that the problem is more that Ms. Hollander is unpersuasive and her argument full of holes, not that she is wrong about everything.

(  Not that she isn’t trying to be. Wrong that is. )

We are to the inevitable point in my teen materials class where we are discussing controversial! young adult literature.  One of our assigned readings for this topic is the craptastic Wall Street Journal article that sparked the #yasaves hashtag last spring, as well as several other responses to it - official and otherwise.

There are just so many things wrong with this article opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal that it would take a graduate thesis to touch on them all.
